Barely 1 month after the Muriithi incident, another celeb, Vera Sidika (that dendai on the You Guy video), allegedly released her nude photo. The photo hit social media this week. Just like Muriithi before her, this particular picture was professionally shot. The socialite has however not come forward either acknowledging or denying releasing the photo. Yesterday, she wrote on her Facebook page that her account had been hacked, and that she was not responsible for some post.
She posted a screenshot and wrote the following,"SORRY FOR THE LAST UPDATE U JUST SAW. MY ACCOUNT GOT HACKED TODAY AT 8.54A.M. THANK GOD A FRIENDS ALERT GOT ME TO FIX IT ASAP. .THIS IS NOW ME POSTING. VERA."
"My Twitter account got hacked as well. Hard to fix cz new password is on it's way to the current email the hacker used.Do u know how to go about this?"
In a curious coincidence, both Ephy Muriithi and Vera Sidika auditioned for Big Brother's 8th season last weekend. This has got people talking, and some are claiming that the two released the photos to better their chances of getting into the house.
This is very likely considering the timing of both releases. Ephy released his just a few weeks to the auditions, while Vera's was leaked just a few days after the auditions; conveniently before the decision on who will represent Kenya in South Africa is made.
