Former KNCHR commissioner Hassan Omar Hassan is expected to marry his long term girlfriend Asli Osman Mahmoud on a four day event, with the vows exchange on Saturday in Mombasa. The invite only event is set to bring together the who’s who in the political, business and celebrity world, with the guests expected to be about 3000.The main ceremony will be at the Baluchi mosque on Saturday and will be according to islam law. Friday will have curtain raised the big day.
On Suday, 1,000 female guests will be celebrating with the bride at Jubilee Hall, while 2,000 men will be at the Mombasa Sports Club, being entertained by the groom.
Hassan Omar is a law graduate of Moi University and has been very vocal on issues human rights. He has a sworn enemy in Ruto, after the latter accused him of coaching witnesses to incriminate him. Omar is said to be venturing into politics this year.
